Space Out with an Astronaut at Kennedy Space Centre

Visitors to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida can now ‘fly’ with an ‘astronaut’.
With a veteran NASA astronaut as a guide, guests spend half a day experiencing the highlights of the center, including a ‘flight’ on Shuttle Launch Experience.

Three. Two. One. The rumble ignites beneath you and g-forces begin to pull you down into your seat – and a close-up look at the real Space Shuttle Atlantis after 33 successful missions.

Visitors then embark on a small group tour, including a drive past the behemoth Vehicle Assembly Building – one of the largest buildings in the world – and a panoramic photo stop overlooking rocket launch pads at the Launch Complex 39 Observation Gantry.

The astronaut guide will head a VIP Tour of the Apollo/Saturn V Center, home to an authentic Saturn V moon rocket, followed by a catered lunch.

And to top things off, visitors will receive an autographed photo of themselves and astronaut ‘hero’ and a retail gift to take home.
