Custer Overview

The little town of Custer – the oldest town in the Black Hills,  lies just five miles west of Custer State Park, where jagged granite spires emerge from dark pine forests and where elk, bighorn sheep, wild donkeys and bison thrive. The town is perfectly positioned for exploring many of the Black Hills best attractions and is less than 30 miles from Wind Cave National Park, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Memorial, Harney Peak, Iron Mountain Road and the Needles Highway.
