Itinerary

Day 1: UK to Calgary

Depart London on your scheduled flight to Calgary where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of today will be at leisure.

Day 2: Calgary to Banff

After breakfast, your day starts with a sightseeing tour of Calgary. Set against the rolling foothills of the majestic Canadian Rockies. Enjoy the city’s blend of modern attractions and historical landmarks, before departing for Banff. Embarking on a tour to uncover some of Canada’s best-kept wilderness secrets. Drive along the scenic Tunnel Mountain Drive, taking in the magnificent spires of layered rock in Bow Valley. Ride the gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, where you’ll be awed by the enormity of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Day 3: Banff

Continue along the Bow Valley Parkway for more unforgettable scenery including Johnston Canyon, a deep limestone ravine which can be explored upon a walkway. Visit Moraine Lake, a glacially fed lake that turns turquoise blue as it begins to thaw in the summer months, before finally arriving at Lake Louise, one of Canada's most beautiful freshwater lakes and home to a thriving population of grizzly bears, moose and timber wolves. Later embark on a journey on board a snow coach to navigate the rugged Columbia Icefield, formed from an ancient glacier.

Day 4: Banff to Jasper

Journey to Jasper with stops at Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Admire the turquoise waters of Moraine Lake, and the stunning beauty of Lake Louise, home to grizzly bears, moose, and timber wolves. Continue to the Columbia Icefield for a thrilling snow coach excursion across the ancient glacier.

Day 5: Jasper

Explore Jasper National Park, renowned for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Consider an optional cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake, one of the most photographed spots in the Canadian Rockies.

Day 6: Jasper to Kamloops

Depart for Kamloops, stopping enroute for a scenic Wildlife River Safari on the Blue River. Arrive in Kamloops and check into your hotel, enjoying the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 7: Kamloops to Whistler

Travel to Whistler, a world-renowned mountaintop resort. Upon arrival embark on an orientation tour of this skier’s paradise. Afterwards you could opt for a peak-to-peak gondola ride for spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 8: Whistler to Victoria

Depart for Victoria, taking a ferry to this picturesque island off the coast of Vancouver. Visit the famed Butchart Gardens, a stunning display of floral artistry.

Day 9: Victoria

Discover Victoria’s rich history and British Colonial heritage on a walking tour. Explore the charming streets, historic buildings, and beautiful waterfront of this captivating city. This afternoon is yours to enjoy this majestic island at your own pace.

Day 10: Victoria to Vancouver

Take a ferry back to the mainland and head to Vancouver. Explore the city’s key attractions on foot with an orientation tour led by your guide.

Day 11: Vancouver

In the morning, visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, experiencing the thrill of walking among the treetops. Return to Vancouver for an afternoon at leisure, exploring the city or relaxing as you please.

Days 12-13: Vancouver

Enjoy some more time in Vancouver at leisure, exploring the city at your own pace or relaxing as you please. Ask your Discover North America about available tours and attractions.

Day 14: Vancouver to UK

Bringing your Canadian adventure to a memorable close, either transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
