Explore this thriving metropolis by riding the subway with the locals or crossing the Hudson by water taxi while enjoying the Manhattan skyline. As exciting and exceptional as the Big Apple may be, there’s a whole lot more to New York State. Leave the city that never sleeps behind and you’ll find yourself in another world, with a pace that beats to an entirely different drum. From the beaches of Long Island all the way up to the breathtaking Niagara Falls, there’s a whole state waiting to be discovered beyond New York City.

Head to the sandy beaches of the Hamptons and you’ll meet the sparkling waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Venture into the Finger Lakes region and you’ll find glittering expanses fringed by wineries. Known for its proximity to New York and Philadelphia, New Jersey has a diverse landscape that offers big-city excitement and outdoor wilderness retreats.  The famous Jersey Shore is lined with sandy beaches and quiet towns. Enjoy endless sand at Cape May beaches and climb the Cape May Lighthouse and look over the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay.
