Backcountry Lodge and Riding Adventure

Meet the other members of your group at the Warner Stables at 100 Sundance Road in Banff at 09:30. Check in at Boons Barn (the largest barn farthest left) and meet your guides. For those guests with a vehicle, free parking is available at Warner stables for the duration of the trip – the office will provide directions to the stables. At the stables you are met by your guides and mount up on your horses for the 16 km ride to Banff Sundance Lodge via the glacier-fed waters of the Bow River, Healy and Brewster Creeks. Lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Sundance Lodge.

1-night package (end of tour)
You enjoy a final day of riding, ending with a scenic and leisurely ride back to Warner Stable, arriving at approximately 16:30. Breakfast and lunch included.

2-night package
SUNDANCE LODGE
After a relaxing evening at Sundance Lodge you mount back up for a second full day in the saddle with a day ride up the Brewster Creek Trail. The group spends lunch on the banks of the Brewster Creek; the ride home may take guests through the weaving river trail or the historic Storm pack trail with the rugged Sundance Range dominating the eastern horizon. Returning to Sundance Lodge for the evening, relax or spend some time with your new found friends. Breakfast,
lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Sundance Lodge.

5-night package
SUNDANCE LODGE TO HALFWAY LODGE
The adventure continues southward with a ride up to Halfway Lodge. The trail winds along the historic Storm pack trail with the rugged Sundance Range dominating the eastern horizon. A day of riding and camaraderie with your group comes to an end upon arrival at the lodge for the night. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Halfway Lodge

2-night package (end of tour)
Bid good-bye to your hosts at Sundance Lodge and mount up for a leisurely ride back to Warner Stables with a lunch stop on the= banks of Healy Creek. Arrive at the stables at approximately 16:30. Breakfast and lunch included.

5-night package
HALFWAY LODGE
A true adventure awaits as you mount up for the day ride up Allenby Pass. Photo opportunities seem to be at every turn, making this the highlight of the trip for many as the path ascends to an elevation of 2470 metres! Upon returning to the lodge in the afternoon, the rest of the day is free to relax. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Halfway Lodge.

Today you mount up and begin your leisurely journey back toward on the Storm pack trail along the Sundance Ridge en route to Sundance Lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge, the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure until the evening when you enjoy a final dinner with your hosts. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Sundance Lodge.

Take some time today to enjoy the surroundings of the lodge. An optional ride or hike can be co-ordinated with your guide. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Sundance Lodge.
