Nothing quite beats the first time you clap eyes on a bear in the wild – or any animal for that matter. Nestled on the banks of Lac Saint Joseph, the Duchesnay Ecotourist Resort offers the opportunity to do just that, and more. Led by expert guides, you’ll spend hours looking for grizzlies and other local wildlife, and, when you’re not on a bear hunt, you’ll have the chance to indulge in some true wilderness living. Picture forested lodge accommodation, local food and adventurous activities – from hiking to cycling to swimming. This untouched, nature-filled Quebec enclave is your oyster.
Combine the Bear Viewing at Duchesnay experience with one of our Eastern Canada Road Trip itineraries.
