Rodeo
On the afternoon of day 2, the best of the best saddle-up for a three hour ground shaking showcase of world- class rodeo action. There are Saddle Bronco and Bareback riding events followed by the most dangerous event of all - Bull Riding.
Rangeland Derby
On the evening of day 3, nine heart-stopping chuckwagon races explode in an all-out dash for the finish line. Chuckwagon racing is an amazing contest of nerves and horsepower - a challenge that ignites thousands of fans.
Grandstand Show
Following the Rangeland Derby is the outdoor stage spectacular. For 2 hours, you will be dazzled by the lavishly produced and choreographed non-stop musical variety grandstand show. Overnights in Calgary.
On Day 4, you'll transfer independently to the airport to catch your internal flight to Vancouver. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel for a two-night stay, where you'll have the freedom to explore this vibrant city at your own pace.
During your time in Vancouver, you may wish to visit some of its top attractions. Start with a stroll around Stanley Park, a sprawling urban oasis with scenic trails, the famous Seawall, and the captivating Vancouver Aquarium. Head to Granville Island for its bustling public market, artisan shops, and waterfront views.
For a taste of history and culture, explore the historic Gastown district, known for its cobblestone streets and the iconic steam clock. The Vancouver Art Gallery offers a diverse collection of artwork, while Science World is perfect for interactive exhibits and family fun. Don’t miss the stunning views from the Vancouver Lookout, and consider a trip to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park for an exhilarating experience in the treetops.

Today, you'll catch your Pacific Coastal Airlines service from Vancouver South Terminal to Campbell River. Upon arrival in Campbell River, you'll transfer to the Comfort Inn & Suites for the first night of your Knight Inlet package. This well-appointed hotel offers comfortable accommodations and is the perfect starting point for your adventure. Take some time to relax and explore the local area, preparing for the exciting experiences that await you in the coming days at Knight Inlet.
After a 07:45 transfer from your hotel to the floatplane base, you will depart at 09:00 on a 45 minute flight to Knight Inlet Lodge. Once settled in at the lodge, and following a brief orientation, you will embark on a small boat excursion in the estuary. Two 2-hour tours follow in the afternoon; one of these tours is a bearviewing tour (by boat in the spring and summer and on a viewing platform in the fall), and the other will be a Knight Inlet sightseeing cruise. You will be accompanied on all excursions by a knowledgeable guide trained in the local wildlife and natural history of the area. In the evening relax in the lounge while enjoying an interpretive presentation by one of the guides. Guests booked on 3-night packages can participate in extra bearviewing and wildlife watching excursions, an interpretative hike through the Kwalate River Valley, and wildlife tracking. Guests booked on 4-, 5- and 6-night packages additionally enjoy a full day excursion to Johnstone Strait for marine life viewing and an excursion to the upper reaches of Knight Inlet (5- and 6-night only).
Following your stay at Knight Inlet, you will have the opportunity to embark on a final bear-viewing boat excursion, providing one last chance to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After this thrilling experience, you'll take a return transfer to Campbell River by floatplane at 10:00. Once back in Campbell River, you'll catch a Pacific Coastal Airlines service back to Vancouver South Terminal.
Upon returning to Vancouver, you'll have a final afternoon and evening to relish the memories of your time at Knight Inlet. Spend this time exploring any remaining sights or simply relaxing and reflecting on your incredible journey.
