Itinerary

Day 1: New York City

Welcome to New York City, one of the most famous cities in the world! Upon arrival, check into your hotel for a three-night stay and then step out and start exploring the Big Apple on your own. Gaze up at the iconic skyline, featuring the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings and the One World Trade Center. Grab a New York slice of pizza or wander through the 24-hour city in search of some hidden gems. (Overnight in New York City)

Day 2: New York City

Today, start using your included CityPass and hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour to really get a feel for New York City. Visit all the major highlights and attractions that draw travellers from around the world, including Greenwich Village, SoHo, Little Italy, Rockefeller Plaza, Museum Mile, and so much more! The degree of contrasts that you’ll find in the city is what makes this destination so exciting! In the evening, why not sample some of its best food? Stop at an authentic Jewish deli for a delicious pastrami on rye, grab a hot dog from a neighbourhood street vendor, or visit Spanish Harlem, one of the biggest ethnic communities in NYC, for soul-stirring Dominican cuisine. Day 3: New York City

Continue using your included CityPass and hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour. Marvel at the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge, see the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim and other famous cultural landmarks, and stroll through Central Park. Then there’s always Fifth Avenue, Times Square, Chinatown, and Battery Park (departure point for Statue of Liberty). The rest of your day and evening is yours to enjoy however you wish. Day 4: New York to Montreal

Spend the day on the train travelling north from New York City to Montreal, Canada. When you arrive, check into your hotel for a two-night stay and begin exploring the city. Montreal sits on the banks of the St. Lawrence River and has a European feel. Streets are lined with centuries-old architecture along with skyscrapers and is filled with quaint coffee shops, delicious restaurants and plenty of other must-visit attractions. Walk Rue Saint-Paul’s charming cobblestone roads, wander through a farmer’s market, and eat some famous poutine! (Overnight in Montreal)

Day 5: Montreal

Enjoy your Montreal city tour, which will show you the heart of the city. Highlights include Notre Dame Basilica, Montreal Harbour, Place des Arts, Chinatown, and Old Montreal. Spend the rest of your day discovering the city on your own. Visit Crescent Street, ride La Grande Roue de Montreal (Ferris wheel), or stroll through St. Louis Square. Montreal is known for being a food haven. Why not indulge and dine? You can sample food from around the world by walking just a few blocks. (Overnight in Montreal)

Day 6: Montreal to Toronto

Take a train from Montreal to Toronto and check into your hotel for a three-night stay. After getting settled, being using your hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour! Visit Yonge-Dundas Square, St Lawrence Market, the Hockey Hall of Fame, Casa Loma, Distillery, and so much more! Afterwards, go exploring on your own to check anything off your must-see list that the tour doesn’t include, such as Guild Park or the Royal Ontario Museum. (Overnight in Toronto)

Day 7: Toronto

Continue using your hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour to wrap up any iconic landmarks and attractions you didn’t get to see yesterday. Then, visit the CN Tower with your included admission. From the top, take in breath-taking views of the city below and surrounding region. Make a dinner reservation on your own or enjoy a cocktail while looking out at the city lights. Day 8: Toronto to Niagara Falls

Explore one of the wonders of the natural world, Niagara Falls. Highlights will include a journey behind the falls, a cruise right up to the Falls, and a self-guided tour of the White Water Walk. (Overnight in Niagara Falls)

Day 9: Overnight on board Amtrak

Continue using your Niagara Adventure Pass to experience all the sights and attractions you didn’t get the chance to yesterday. In the evening, take your transfer from Niagara Falls to the Buffalo train station for your overnight rail journey to Chicago. (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

Day 10: Chicago

In the morning, you’ll arrive in Chicago, the Windy City! After travelling on your own to your hotel and checking in, why not embark on your included Chicago architecture river cruise? You’ll get the opportunity to see all the famous skyscrapers and landmarks, including the Tribune Tower, Wrigley Building, Marina City and dozens of others. Then, do some discovering of your own. And no trip to Chicago would be complete without enjoying some deep-dish pizza or Chicago-style hot dog. (Overnight in Chicago)

Day 11: Chicago

Start using your hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour to visit the top attractions, including Millennium Park, Navy Pier, Magnificent Park, Willis Tower and John Hancock Tower. Then, use your included admission to Skydeck Chicago, located 103 floors up in the former Sears Tower. Clear observation boxes at the top give you incredible views of the city and up to four states!
