Arrive at 12:00 at the ranch (independently or by Chilcotin Shuttle from Vancouver) in time for lunch with your hosts and fellow guests. Afterwards, receive your Horse Riding Orientation, matching riders to horses, fit saddles, and practice horsemanship skills. Set out on an introductory trail ride along Gun Creek for the remainder of the afternoon before returning to the ranch for dinner and an evening of wildlife scouting. Lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Chilcotin Holidays Guest Ranch.
Depart the ranch and ride out to the trail camp, stopping along the way for wildlife scouting at several bear viewing sites. Learn how to track the bears and identify signs of their passing. After a lunch stop along the trail, arrive at the camp and get settled before dinner and an evening campfire. The next day, head back out on the trails to new bear viewing locations and lunch at the top of a scenic mountain pass. An afternoon of riding before back to camp for dinner, wildlife scouting and sharing tales under the stars. Breakfasts, picnic lunches, dinners and snacks included. Overnight in a tent at the trail camp.
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely ride back to camp through the bear viewing areas, some wildlife scouting, followed by a picnic lunch. Arrive back at the ranch and check out early afternoon
