The Northern Lights and Winter Nights Enthusiast adventure, led by an experienced Interpretive Guide, offers you the opportunity to witness this incredible night-sky phenomenon from the tundra. Surround yourself in beautiful northern landscapes as we travel to a new and secluded location each night for incredible aurora-viewing opportunities!
By day, you’ll experience the history and culture of this unique northern community with a snowshoeing adventure, an exhilarating dog sled ride through the boreal forest, a tour of the local Itsanitaq Museum and more!

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Winnipeg
Arrive in Winnipeg independently at the Inn at the Forks hotel, check in and enjoy a welcome dinner hosted by your Frontiers North Interpretive Guide. Dinner included. Overnight in Winnipeg.
Day 2: Winnipeg
Today enjoy a visit to Manitoba Planetarium andthe presentation; Interactive “Inuit: People of the North” program. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight in Winnipeg.
Day 3: Winnipeg to Churchill
Depart Winnipeg in the early morning for 2-hour flight to Churchill where you check in to your hotel. After dinner, board the 4x4 Tundra Buggy to ride to the aurora viewing and enjoy and introductory northern lights photography workshop. All meals included. Overnight in Churchill.
Day 4: Churchill
After breakfast, set out on a day of discovery with a town and area tour In the evening, enjoy another night of sky-gazing All meals included. Overnight in Churchill.
Day 5: Churchill
Today you get a true taste of ancient Inuit tradition on a guided dogsledding tour, as your team of trusty animals whisks your sled through local trails. In the evening, enjoy some delicious local delicacies at Dan’s Diner on the other side of the Churchill River. All meals included. Overnight in Churchill.
Day 6: Churchill
Today, adventure awaits with a guided snowshoeing tour on local trails, followed by a ride on the Tundra Buggy for another dazzling evening of aurora viewing. All meals included. Overnight in Churchill.
Day 7: Churchill to Winnipeg
Today after breakfast, you check out of your hotel and visit the Itsanitaq Museum and attend a presentation by Parks Canada at their interpretive centre before your return flight to Winnipeg. After a transfer from Winnipeg Airport to your hotel, relax with a final dinner and reflect on your Canadian adventure. All meals included. Overnight in Winnipeg.
Day 8: End of Package
Check out of your hotel as your package comes to an end.
